Multisensory Illusions and Interactions

We study auditory-visual interactions in sighted individuals through the discovery of novel multisensory illusions. The goal of this research is to better understand auditory-visual postdictive processing (later stimuli affecting earlier stimuli) in cognition, and apply these new findings to populations with vision loss.  We recently published a review article in the emerging subfield of crossmodal postdiction, and have several new crossmodal illusions in development. To experience our illusions visit the Illusion Demos page.
